In order to write ad copy that triggers your readers' internal reactions, you must learn how to use emotional words. Since writing is really just a play of words, why not use those words that will trigger or excite something inside your reader that will make him want to reaction to your writing! Intellectual or technical words, on the other hand, may get your point across but the effect is not the same. Therefore, as a general rule replace intellectual words with emotional words and you'll sell more because you'll trigger an emotional response. The following list will help you to choose those words that will create a reaction in your reader when reading your ad copy. This list contains two columns of words. The first column shows the emotional word while the second shows the intellectual word that you should avoid in your ad copy. Use this list when creating your ads and you will be surprised at the results!
